HELLO THERE. My name is Ade. I set this area up as a way to introduce myself, share a bit about me as well as cater to any initial queries you may have. I will do my best to address these for you but please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions at all.


A BIT ABOUT ME. I have been a photographer since the late 90s, starting out as a hobbyist street photographer and then I shot a couple of "friends' weddings". Soon after, my so-called hobby turned into a part-time gig. To cut a long story short. About twenty weddings and over 200 events later, I decided to leave my full time city job in Graphic Design to become a professional wedding and event photographer.

MY APPROACH. Relaxed, natural. Stemming from my street photography days, I only photograph what I see, the way I see it, as it happens. It's that simple. No unnecessary or uncomfortable posing. No staging. No prepping. My focus is to creatively capture your event as it naturally unfolds. I believe every wedding is beautifully unique in it's own special way: Grandpa struggling with his necktie. Aunty Mabel helping her nephew with his shoelace. Groom wiping a tear. 

This is where you will find me.

Of course i won't forget you centre stage - the core of the day's events. And rest assured, I will be nearby. And contrary to what you see in the above image, I will not photobomb my shots.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Absolutely. I am situated in Haslemere, Surrey and I love to travel whether that be any corner of the UK or further afield. There will be a fee for fuel when travelling further than 100 miles and an overall travel and accommodation fee when appropriate.

DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT?

Yes, I do. It protects both parties. You have part copyright included with your photographs so you can do as you wish with them. The contract is sent via post. (Online signing facility in the near future)

WE DEFINITELY WOULD LIKE TO GO AHEAD. WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM US?

If you wish to go ahead and book me, feel free to email me and I will send you a confirmation letter with a request for a 10% booking fee to secure your date along with a completed contract and online booking form.

Will we meet before the wedding day?

Your wedding is perhaps the best day of your life and it is an honour for me to be part of it. My intention is always to create a great relationship with all of my couples which will also play a part in the photographs I capture. So yes I insist we meet up before the big day.  

DO YOU DO PRE-WEDDING SHOOTS?

Not anymore I'm afraid. My package used to include a pre-wedding shoot as a sort of an ice-breaker and a great way to to meet for the first time but I found them to not do the job for me. I would rather just hang out with my couples in a relaxed setting these days and just get to know them over a coffee. Besides, we will get all the shots we need at the wedding itself. So even though my camera comes along with me (just incase), hardly do any shoots take place - unless specifically requested.

CAN WE PURCHASE ALBUMS OR PRINTS?

You certainly can. There is a beautiful handcrafted 12x12 Folio album and there are options to further purchase other albums and prints.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS?

I started wedding photography back in '08. Street photography was my thing before then. I loved capturing folk out and about just being themselves. Then I started shooting weddings for friends' and a few corporate events where I worked in the city as a graphic designer. Due to the overwhelming response and compliments I received regarding the photos I shared,  I decided to give it a go as a side gig till summer 2017 when I finally went all out to go full time. Best decision ever!

DO YOU TAKE FORMAL SHOTS?

Not really. Only if specifically asked. My overarching philosophy is to shoot what I see, as it happens. No unnecessary posing or uncomfortable smiles. Just you and your guests being themselves. I enjoy shooting to capture moments rather than to shoot for coverage i.e. I don’t shoot to capture everybody at the wedding. Although, I feel that the formal group shot does allow for everyone who is at the wedding to be in the photographs at least once so I am always happy to do group shots.

WHAT WILL I GET AFTERWARDS?

Ah, the fun bit. The amount of photographs I send back to my clients usually varies as no wedding is the same. I return on average at least 400 processed, high res photos (some of which will be uploaded online via a private gallery for sharing with family, friends, guests etc). You will also have the actual jpeg files sent to you for print and for social media. I am proud to share all photo copyrights with you. They are as much yours as they are mine.

WILL YOU TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH OF EVERYONE AT THE WEDDING?

While I will do my best to capture everyone, there is a chance - it is absolutely essential that there is clarity around this - that this may not be possible. For me to produce for you the kind of work you have seen in my portfolio, it is important that I am allowed total direction of all aspects of the photographic process.
